Digital Clutter

Spent a good chunk of this weekend organizing my media collection. Having consolidated computers over the years for one reason or another left me by with about 5+GB (1300+) duplicates. Yeash!

I spent a fair amount of time looking for a good media organizing software, and while there are many out there to choose from, few really perform well in my opinion. A lot of them (much like iTunes) create a database..but when your trying to go into and actually clean up the tags and remove them from the hard drive they are not as obvious.

So I'm going to do a little product plug. I'm using Media Monkey, and so far I'm pretty happy with it. Hopefully all my work will pay off and it'll be easier to keep up with this time around.
